You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown

Last week I tried out for the school musical, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, at my new school, ISK. I tried out for the part of Lucy and it was a big risk for me in two ways, as I find it intimidating to sing in front of other people and I'm also new at this school. I got a callback for Snoopy on Monday and had to sing Suppertime along with two other girls. This audition was far less intimidating than the first one as I'd already gotten through one audition and I was feeling more comfortable. Yesterday I found out that I had gotten the part of Lucy! This was a huge surprise to me as I thought I'd get Snoopy if I was chosen at all. I was truly debating even auditioning and I'm glad I did because this is another big opportunity for me and I think it's going to be a lot of fun. Furthermore, theatre is something I really enjoy and I think I should get in as much of it as I possibly can before I graduate.
